It's a bit harsh to generalize that every gamer is that American set stereotype of big rimmed glasses, pants up to the shoulders and riddled with pimples and a funny sounding voice. I think thats going a bit too far. I know one guy who I never suspected to play games because he first of all didn't look like the type and seemed to have all the girls on him. He had his secret of being a level 70 in World Of Warcraft and that came as such a shock to me. To judge someone by purely what they look like is plain wrong.

Interesting hey? Like 90% of the community here is under 18 .

The reason people on this site are younger than the average, is because handhelds are more demographically specific to younger age groups than consoles.

Adult gamers 'usually' dont play games on the move. They wait till their work is done and sit down and relax in front of the tv on the lounge. They own consoles.

Also, handhelds arent as expensive as consoles. I'm assuming parents would support a 300 dollar games system rather than a 1000 dollar system.

Lastly, adult gamers who do find the time to game, probably dont have a lot more spare time afterwards, to waste in gaming forums. Hence, this is why there are more people underage on this forum. IMO.

In a way - you can do anything you want if you make the time for it. Plain and simple. I used to think I wouldn't have the time... but in all honesty - I was being really slack or so busy - that I really had no time.... to post meaningful things

I dont like that stereotype, I play games and have a different view. Cause Im never in the computer room at lunchtimes and I'm a keen soccer player. I really don't like that stereotype, some big kinda popular guy I know he likes games but he never gets a hard time for it, problem of the stereotype. And its just not true there may be some nerds that are like hardcore gamers but then thats not to say all hardcore gamers are, some may just love it fill there boredom with it as much as possible.

Monster Hunter isn't a nerdy game everyone has different tastes if your a nerd and you like don't make it a game for nerds, if lots of nerds play it don't make it a nerdy game. Its like a crazy game using massive weapons beating the living daylights out of anything that gets in your way, and it doesn't have any crap of leveling up and any too weird compulsory tasks and over the top things like super magic spells.
