rss channels are things which u can subscribe to and you can get all the latest stuff.

for example. the mypsp rss channel on the home page. (the orange thingy next to "recent posts")

if you subscribe to this channel, save it under bookmarks or whatever, when you go to the tab in bookmarks, it will give you a list of all the recent posts and by clicking on one of them, will take you to that page.

rss channels are often used on news pages, so people save time not having to go through all the links on the site to get the most recent news.
