Alright, please help me out here, My friends and I are hosting a movie night type thing, and we are looking to show the most scary/frightning/disturbing/shocking films ever made.

So far we got:

The Exorcist
Silence of the Lambs
Saw 1

We are also thinking about getting:
Signs
The Shining
Rosemary's Baby

We were thinking six movies would be good, so if you guys don't respond, we're good, but please, I want to hear your guy's opinions.

We need 3 more and we are having the party at 6:00 PM, a week after the 4th of July, and hoping to end it around 6:00 AM the next morning.

Please help and thanks in advance.

(I've also posted this at MyWii and I'll make the choice based on the average outcome)

Get all three SAW movies. They're great. Also try the remake of House on Haunted Hill. Not that scary, but it's alright.

How about some of the dead films like Night of the Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead, Day of the Dead and Land of the Dead if you've ever played Dead Rising they based it on Dawn of the Dead. Some are pretty old but still some good movies!

F**k off. That's the best movie and probabley one of the scariest movies I've ever seen. Just wayy to good. And I've seen alot of movies.

Darkness Falls (You have to have 5.1 sound like on the loudest, then It's a great movie, shows how much sound can make a difference to a movie)

By the way, they aren't that scary the Chainsaw Massacres, I just like seeing people getting ripped to pieces with chainsaw, I have on obsession)
Don't get any of the Saw series, there are S**t. Hostel was and alright movie, not scaring or anything, just like Saw, just more gore and stuff. Saw wasn't scary at all, just blood that's really, and some other pretty gross things in the 3rd one.

Hostel Part II is the S88test movie I've ever watched guys, don't see it.

By the way, has anyone seen blood Diamond?? That's a f**king sick movie and not in a good way.

Watching Descent was a very painful experience because it was so boring. Not to mention the bad acting.
But then again, I guess I've out grown horror movies. I blame video games for that (Silent Hill and Project Zero). I haven't seen a decent horror movie in such a long time.

Try "The Rocky Horror Picture Show". It's old and not horror (it's a musical), but Tim Curry's character is very disturbing. And it's a cult classic.

lol I know "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" isn't horror so it's not suitable for a horror movie theme night, but it's still disturbing (funny though), therefor I thought it was worth mentioning.

There aren't really many good horror movies any more. All the new ones just have cheap thrills, lots of fake blood and bad actors. Not scary at all, just boring. While all old horror movies have really bad special effects with acting that's just as awful. Again not scary, but kinda funny.

Kids... do not watch that movie in the same sit... *looks around*
