Yea i use that to get bands. The home page is pretty awesome, you put in a band you like and it shows you numerous bands that are similar. They just sold that site for big bucks as well, so we might see an upgrade.
The profiles on it seem to lack a bit of substance though, thats the only problem.
Eg. (about the search thing)

And i like all of those bands to, and it sometimes throws in some unknown bands, which are good as well. Quite neat search feature.
