i used to go spearfishing all the time, that was until one day i went out, with my spear gun and brown mess bag (to put the fish i caught in). I had caught about a dozen fish, all were in my bag and i was swimming back to the drop off point when i saw my cousin swimming really quick past me, i was like dude what r you up 2??
He pointed past me, and to my surprise was a 4 metre tiger shark heading straight towards me!! I had to think quick so i started dumping the fish as i was swimming away, which probably saved my life cause it distracted the shark long enough to get away to safety, once i was outta the water my cousin and i just sat there laughing our heads off, thinking wow that was close.
Funilly enough i never really got back into it...
