Downloaded Vista Ultimate, was useless - especially for gaming.

Running XP 32bit and dual booting with Ubuntu.

Microsoft fail for not getting drivers out for Vista on its release, so now it's lacking major. The only reason I bothered to download it was for DirectX10 (yes, gaming fanatic) - but I'll just wait for someone to create a crack for XP.

there already has been a crack for getting directX10.1 on windows xp, that's all i'm saying about this, It's illegal.

Oh yes, I forgot about the whole Vista thing where it asks you to open a program every GOD DAMN TIME you try open it.

If this is Microsucks way of tackling virus', i say gg.

Well said. The service pack 2 for XP is bad enough with it's "Shall I let this program use the internet?" If I was bothered to turn it off I would but then it annoys you about not having it on. No one wins.

I'm gonna look into gettin Fedora 7 on my PS3, I saw some guy have it on youtube, with the ability to boot up as the normal PS3 aswell. Apparently Sony have made it really safe to add Linux to your PS3, probs just a sort of way of going against Microsoft I suppose.

I think it was easy enough to run Linux on the xbox 360 by just putting the KingKong disc in then swapping it over for a linux live cd when the game reached the 'Press start to begin' screen.
Exploit probably patched up by now guessing the way console developers are these days. Once linux runs then from there people make their own code possible of dumping the BIOS of the system. Enough said.

I have no problem with clicking Accept or Decline. I run XP, my AV always asks for permission, i don't really care clicking once. And dual booting is really unstable...

I use vista ultimate and windows xp home (dual boot) I use vista on the net coz it's more secure than xp and I use xp for all my games etc because vista is a memory pig. I used vistamanager to tweak vista to my liking and get rid of the UAC.
