I'd go for the PS3 mate, it has a incredibly low fail rate (0.017% or somthing), incredible graphics, great online play and it's FREE!, and it has lots of exclusives coming out next year

Ive heard that if you leave the 360 on for too long it gets so hot that it melts the everything inside like the chips and the laser and stuff, So i would definetly go with the ps3. Also the ps3 runs smoother and more quieter and you can do some cool stuff with the psp and the ps3 that you obviously cant do with the 360. And the ps3 has a bluray player.

I agree i have both of them and by far 360 isnt worth the money. its does have some good games like farcry and dead rising but i havent played it for about 2 months and ive had my ps3 longer! plus all the stuff u can do with ur psp makes it all worth it! I love ps3!!!! woot to Orange Box!!
