YiP, Using your PSP (to keep things nice and related).

On your PSP Memory Stick, in the root, create a folder called "PS3" (all in caps, without quote marks) in that folder, make one called "UPDATE" (again all caps, no quote marks).

Download the update file from:
au.playstation.com/
(That's Australian version)

Move the file to the "UPDATE" Folder.

Connect the Memory stick to the PS3 bye either memory card reader, or USB through the PSP.

Under "Settings" go to "Network Update" at the top. Select from Memory card or removeable storage (it says something like that) and follow the onscreen instructions.
