I was overcome with a huge boredom. Normally the internet is a place I would escape to when I'd be home alone, with no transport anywhere and I would find it a successful time filler. Without it, I couldn't cope with doing nothing. If anything, I'd just force myself to sleep since there's nothing better around me to do. I'd played through Halo2 enough to shoot/whack/stab anything before it gets a chance to live long enough even know it's in a battle (unless that particular thing kills me first), my house lacks anything to use, I'm not a fan of watching TV and my general suburb is in short supply of everything but houses.

A conclusion? Well in simple terms I had failed myself at reaching the goal I had set. I don't know if that is such a bad thing though, after all, this community is great and I can see at times when it really needs me around.

It can all be wrapped up in saying that any hobby can be likened to a drug. You will becomes addicted to it after some time of use, it will grow and wrap itself into your life, until it becomes your life. Attempts to dispose of that piece of your life will result in a hole, a hole of time. Again, when likened to a drug addiction, you can see it at something what you would do day in a day out. After a very long period of time it will grow harder and harder for anyone to let go of their hobbies and finding a new one can be ever more of a challenge. Ultimately what you do is your choice, nobody elses.

Now I'm not telling anybody to leave, but I'm saying that it isn't going to be an easy thing to do when the time comes to leave or depart with anything you do or love. So just take care out there everyone.

some people on here i talk to on msn more than my actual friends, not cause im a loner lol, my friends just don't use MSN much.

I play with Jay on xbox live every few nights which is great fun and i met him through here.

I also played people online on fifa 08 through here.

This site basicly made a learn about computers. I spent lots of time here awhile ago and then learn't to use computers 10 fold.

This site has been great lol

Oh and i learnt about homebrew here which was great

As for leaving, I haven't been here often lately, but I can leave the computer and not have the urge to go back online. I mostly hop on the computer from boredom.

I have changed from the member that i was, and with that, i have made lots of friends on here.
I blamed school for the way i behaved a long time ago, but really, it was my fault, which is why i left for a while, and by the time i came back, i was a completely different member.

lol That's what I think sometimes. But if I need something else to keep me amused I'll get a good book. I'll be busy for hours reading (until I finish it ).

But letting a site be the main focus of someone's day is kind of sad.

I've stayed a member for this long, and kept coming back, for four reasons.
1. I've made many friends over the years on the mysites. As some don't have msn, this forum is the easiest means of communication with them.
2. I like this site. It's constantly evolving and growing, and amongst the waves and waves of spam, there's generally glistening pearls of interesting discussions. I'm in it for the pearls, baby.
3. I enjoy helping people. Occasionally, someone here has a problem. I try to help, in my own cynical way.
4. Because I can. What more reason do I need?

So what does working for MyMedia involve? Maintaining and checking of code? Feeding Roy's beta testing monkeys? Checking the errors in the code reported? It all sounds very interesting.

hmm...I wouldn't say I'm addicted to the site. I feel confident that I could leave if I wanted to. But I see no reason to. I go on this (and other) site because I enjoy it. I don't watch much TV, and if I wasn't here I'd probably read alot more and play alot more games.

This site (or any site) doesn't get in the way of me doing my homework, or other duties, as I use the internet and other things I like as rewards for doing things I'm not so enthusiastic about.

I have learnt alot from this site, and I've helped a few people as well.
