processor:
Intel(R) Core(TM) 2 Duo Processor T8100 (2.10 GHz, 3 MB L2 Cache, 800MHz FSB)

graphics:
128MB NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GS (the only non intel one there [intel graphics = crap])

RAM:
The 2GB default is absolutley fine for now, but if getting 3 GB is within your budget, I would reccomend it.

I'm not really one for the Dell/HP online buy laptops, but if you are sweet with it thats cool, thought I highly reccomend you look to see if there is anything decent on this site: www.msy.com.au/ I get all my PC parts from there, and I have bought a laptop from them before, and they stock all of them, so you don't have to order it.

yer i thought of a macbook but found out my skool won't put the applications on them. not too sure why........

maxiboy: yer i'm not planning to buy the notebook online coz i'm not really into that thing.
