Social \ Refurbished Electronics?

So I was just wanting your opinions on refurbished electronics. Would you buy it? Why and why not? And do you think it's safe to buy them? I just have this major trust issue with buying something refurbished, I have no grounds for it but was wondering if one of you guys/girls could shed some light on it!

Sorry for not replying! I was buying a calculator that usually costs $330 brand new but this one was going a bit cheaper, obviously.. It just said that it had been factory refurbished which I have been told is fine as it's when third party refurbish them that there's a problem and it does come with a 6 month warranty!

**EDIT**

I got it.. So I guess I'll let you guys know how it goes.. I'm hoping it'll be all good!
