Need For Speed Underground Rivals - 1/10
This game has to be one of history biggest bs you can get your hands on. And yes that means it followed it predessors really well. So why do I say this? Well for starters 9/10 times a "magic" car/ van pops out in front of you within the blink of an eye only when you're in the lead and so close to the finish line.
You think i'm full of sh*t? When it happens about 20 times in a row you'll begin to wonder if the other cars are really that lucky.
Then you begin to ask yourself these questions:
"Howcome they never run into magic cars on the road but only you do?"
"Howcome under any circumstances, in a collision with a comp opponent you are the one that spins out miserably while they proceed?"
"Why is it that they can catch up so ridiculously fast?"
And then you realized this, "Hey this game is like the PC version! When they make the AI smarter they meant the circuit is on their side. Vans will only block you. Collisions will only slow you down."
Anyways furthermore on the bad side. This game is also quite inaccurate. From driving in a straight line having no advantage in comparision to weaving in and out from starting line this brings up a big ?
Next having no benefit driving ~100kph when slipstreaming aka "drafting" I wonder how they can make a game this pathetic.
There is no points system in this game. For driving dangerously or drafting you wont get more points unlike the PC version.
Lastly the graphics on this is only fair. The game is quite pixelated and comparing to Ridge Racer its miles behind.
Now onto the good things.
There is a lot of customerizations and you can even rotate around you're newly juiced vehicle.
There is also drifting, dragging, circuit and sprint so you don't get bored just playing one style.
Conclusion, save your money and give this a miss. Wait for NFS Most Wanted or GT4 instead.
