Prince Of Perisa Rival Swords - 4/10
This game on PSP? If it was on PS2, I'd get it straight away, but otherwise...hmm - when its released, my review will be updated.

Story:
The Prince returning from his quest from saving the timekeeper in Prince of Persia: Warrior Within. He’s appeased the Dahaka and saved the new “love” of his life. For all those wondering where the original love is, the one from Sands of Time, well play the game and you will find out.
Gameplay:
You cannot button mash through this game, no matter what anyone says. It requires skill, timing, precision and above all PATIENCE. Do not even attempt to play this game after you have played a button mashing, knuckle-crunching game… you will truly have no hope and lose the intricacy the game requires. The added chariot races are a welcomed addition to the game along with the multiplayer facility. Otherwise there isn’t much of a difference. So only a true fan would want to complete the same game on every console. Still, it’s a good game to get engrossed in if you have not played the Two Thrones.

Graphics:
Just as good as the PS2 version if not marginally better…
8.5/10
Sound:
That whip crack booming through your headphones, or the blood-curdling screams of the Prince’s victims are just a-little more life like in this version.

Overall:
Yeah it’s a great game for the PSP – but it lacks the originality I have come to expect from any game. I understand that Revelations was absolutely crap by anyone’s standards but having a direct port is not good either. Having played the original one on PS2, this gamer regrets buying the game as soon as it came out. And for this reason and this reason alone, all those that have played this game I give it a 4/10 – the multiplayer and chariot races just does not justify the 79.95 price tag – wait for it to go platinum.
Otherwise, if you are new to it – then it’s an awesome 8.5/10.
Legde’s Final Word:
I would still recommend buying the game on PS2 and then buying this as a platinum game – will save you a couple of dollars. PS2 plat. (29.95) + PSP plat. (39.95) <- less if you go during sales… saving of atleast $10!
