Well here it is!
WHAT IS A GANG?
Just a rather classy way of describing a 'thread' that is created for a group of members to chat in. A place where you are free to talk about whatever you want, obviously in conjunction with the rules of the forums.
HOW DO I JOIN A GANG?
Simply, click on forums, look on the right hand bar, select GANGS. There you will find the active Gangs.
Active Gangs (Coinciding with the publishing of this guide) include:
- Brotherhood
- [x] krew
- Freedom
- Metal Gear Solid
- EA Gang
- Rockstar
Any of the other gangs, please leave alone, as they are dead, and there is no use in reviving the topics.
Now, once you're in the Gang's Topic/Thread, go to the latest page, and basically, ask if you can join ... normally there will be a yes. And, one of the Leaders of the gang, will send an email or PM off to the webmaster, requesting he puts a badge on you. Sometimes it's just easier to ask one of us Admins, and we can contact him.
Also Post it here: Badges Topic
After you are accepted into the Gang, you are still part of the Gang BEFORE you get your badge, its not that bigger deal.
PS. Everyone is welcome to post in all of the Gangs threads, unless specifically asked not to by Admin, or a Leader of the Gang.
