I cant believe this, petrol has hit $1.62 in sydney yesturday. yikes
so whiats the price of fuel your way?
I've owned 2 nice v8's in my life , a 302 xy falcon V8 and a 1988 pontiac trans am 350 tpi fuel injected v8,(knight rider styled)
I couldnt afford to run them now if I still had them

Yay for me who 1 month ago, upgraded from a 4 cyl proton to a V6 Magna! We've gone from $30 every 5 days or so, to $30 for 2 days.

before u ask why, cos it was too small for my kid and all her crap!

Without actualy invading a country and claimingthe land as our own, there's nothing the Goverment can do...

they can just say to all the companies drop the price or well will increase the tax for you to operate in australia to like 50000 billion dollars

Actually. Do you know how much tax is put on petrol?? The ONLY reason gas is so much cheaper than petrol is because the government subsidise it. Gas is actualy sold cheaper than what petrol stations pay for it, onyl because the government tell them to do so.. And the stations get subsidised for it. Petrol could be lower, all the government would have to do is take off their taxes. Or make the taxes on petrol lower..

agreed,the price of petrol at the moment is ridiculous, i remember back in 99,it was inbetween 0.60 to 0.70, thats a enormus difference, but i went to eastern europe a couple years ago , the bulkans & the price of petrol there was even higher then aus, was $2.00 a litre, were almost there now,i believe in a year or so,well be equal..
