Anyway, I just finished watching Kanokon + all the specials. Brilliant anime; good story, characters, yada yada. Not sure if you guys are into romance-ecchi-comedy-kemonomimi type animes, but I recommend it ... if you guys can handle seeing boobs.

Not hentai at all. It's ecchi, or rather, ero. There is a major difference - they draw boobs, but don't detail on anything else. Hentai goes into details for every little body part and then has the person(s) engage in sexual activities. There's a difference between porn and a movie where the female lead takes her shirt off to have a shower.

If you've watched (or even read) Elfen Lied, Kanokon is nothing.

It's a really dark theme, plenty of gore and nudity throughout teh anime. Girl gets decapitated in the first episode. You shouldn't watch it.
