I use The Core Media Player. VLC is like a Swiss army-knife. It can do everything, but it's not the greatest.

Also, Naruto manga is good. Further ahead than anime, too.

VLC plays everything out of the box, so most people use it for simplicity. Simple people, simple player.

Mmm. Just finished watching VC episode 1.
It's cool. I'll get to downloading the second one.

I really like VLC for playing my downloaded videos.
Mostly because as tom said, you don't have to find all the codecs. It just plays what it's given. Which is great.

Actually, VLC is kinda like one of those plug-n-play systems they were selling a few years ago.
You get one, plug it in and bam, you're good to.
