I used to use zippos, but they kept burning my smokes to far down cos the flame was so big. Now i just buy the little 99 cent ones from woolies, they do the trick

I fill up my fluid once every 2 or 3 weeks and i only use my zippo to do tricks with and play with when i'm bored. A bottle of fluid lasts a fair bit, i've only ever bought 2 bottles.

A wick lasts a fair bit too. Just pull it up with plyers (spelling?) and chop off the badly burnt parts or it.

As for the cost. It doesn't cost that much for the lighter fluid and wick, you should always be able to get it for under $10, also you need to buy some flints occaisonally to replace the ones that have been used, also not very expensive, just a couple of dollars.
