k, this is for the ps3 people so all you x box people who want to say stuff like '360 IS BETTER!' can go **** them selfs, i dont want any of that crap on this thread, it ruins to many of them

now..

here a picture of the ps3 controller

now it looks like the plain old thing, but now it has alot more to it

it will now have a special device that lets you controll some games, simply by monovering the controller (this will be standard with the ps3)

i would of posted a in game scene where a guy was playing a game (forgot the name alredy!) by using the controller, it was a aircraft/shooter game, and the grapics were just unbeliveable

well, theres a it of an update if you dont already know

Secondly they reverted to this shitty Dual shock design of the handles. Seriously have you guys ever held a 360 controller? Or a Gamecube controller? Once you touch these things you can't ever go back to the Dual Shock, it doesn't even feel normal.

the PS3s first controller, the boomerang one looked like a huge improvement. it was round lieka steering wheel and had nice elongated handles, No doubt it was super comfy. Nup nerds protested and here were are back in 1996 with lousy afterthought handles.

And lastly Sony need to swallow their ****ing pride and put the left analog stick where it bloody belongs. Theres a reason why the Gamecube, Dreamcast and Xbox all put their joystick where Sony put the d-pad. BECAUSE IT'S LOGICAL AND USED FOR THE MAJORITY OF GAMES!

This controller needs to goto hell today. The only worse controller to come out of E3 was nIntnedo's joke of a shell controller. Imagine an overwight Super Nintendo controller with laugho extra shoulderbuttonsa nd shitty playstation joysticks outta nowhere on it.

The left analogue stick... Doesn't it make sense and more comfort to have the analogue sticks in symmetrical positions?? If I'm using 2 analogue sticks for a game, they just gotta be symmetrical... Who know's maybe Microsoft will learn one day, and release another controller (the 4th or 5th design maybe??) that actually gets it right...

The problem is that they can't make the best design, cos Sony already snagged it, and everyone would say they copied them...

:p lol

EDIT: DOesn't matter so much, won't be long before you'll be able to interchange controllers like u can now... WHenever I play my mates xbox, I always take a converter and use my PS2 controller, QED

1. the controller WILL have the rumble happining
2. the controller is known HUGELY WORLDWIDE for its controller shape
3. where and when did people protest about the controller?
4. the D- pad is used in a fair amount of games

and LASTLY!

And since most games come out on both platforms.... it means we get some sh1t games too.... but I agree, there are more fantastic games on the PS and only coupl of ones on the Xbox imo.

My opinion of the controller is this, 'Why fix something that aint broke'. The PS Controller was way ahead of its time. It is THE most comfortable controller I have used, I have clocked up 1000's of hours, without any RSI (Repetitive Strain Injury), or soreness.

However, this is MY opinion, and certainly wouldn't substitue it for your own.

well if it doesnt have rumble, then thats just the price to pay for the new motion sensor technology. Theres no point in agruing though people, if you like xbox and the xbox controller, then buy the console and play it, if you like playstation and like the dualshock, then buy it and play with it.

just because some of you prefer dualshock or the xbox controller, doesnt mean that others are wrong and sony or microsoft ****ed up or anything

its about gaming, not about being worried that everyone else will get the console that you dont have.

ANYWAY, in my opinion, i was looking foward to the boomerang and im kind of dissapointed that they didnt use it, but the dualshock has always been popular and has already prooved that it works, so i guess its a good move. I dont think the analog sticks being next to each other are a problem, id prefer it that way, as bundy said. But thats just me

Did anyone mention how the new dualshock has depth sensitive R and L buttons? i think R2 and L2 are like triggors, like the xbox control.

As with the lack of rumble feature... I'll miss it, but the fact of the matter is that I'm so used to it now that I barely notice it so don't even bother turning it on sometimes...
