Sony should stop being a pack of liars and just tell the truth about why it doens't have rumble.
But it's ok I will reveal to you the real reason. Sony and Microsoft both got sued, not by Nintendo but by another company that had patented the rights to use the rumble technology in the Dual Shock and Xbox controlelrs (Nintendo used a diffrent method it seems.) Microsoft apologised and settled the dispute, agreeing to pay this company a small sum for every controller sold.

Sony did not settle, they were taken to court. And lost.

Sony dont have the RIGHT to use rumble anymore.

The whole idea that it messes with the motion sensing is OBVIOUSLY bullshit since the Wii ontroller has a far more advanced motion sensor AND has rumble.

I think Bundy mentioned how symetrical analogue sticks was BETTER or some garbage like that? he cited games using both sticks are more confortale. Now tell me which games even use both sticks? None, only a few shooters. And do you see Xbox owners complaining about their non symetriocal setupfor Halo? no.

EDIT##: not having rumble makes the controler lighter and more to the shape of your hand. I also think that not having rumble might be better for the controller.

Pure, simple, stupid, fanboyness. Last time i checked i could upload songs and pictures to my 360 from my psp... but see little insignificant things like compatibility with a handheld dont bother me... I'll still be playing Halo 3 even if there isn't a handheld component to the game... and its good to see Sony taking a page from Nintendo who came up with the handheld to console system first, its also good to see Sony take a page from Microsoft with their online capabilities... i wonder if they will have an online marketplace?

In other words, if in a flight sim, you want to bank and roll to the left, you would make the same motion asd you would on a real flight controller.

Its sure better than trying to initiate the same manouver with the D-pad or toggles. It makes them rather outdated really.

In fact I'm pretty sure Nintendo are in the process of preparing to sue them over the tilt sensor as well. Those of you who are impressed by at should take a look at what Nintendo have cooking. PS3 has nothing on it.

im kind of dissapointed that they didnt go with the boomerang, but i guess we know that the dual shock works. im impressed with the tilting stuff, i didnt see it coming, i like it how its still a traditional controller with the tilting technology, i personally dont like what nintendo is doing with the remote, but its darn interesting thats for sure! im heaps interested in seeing that day of destruction or whatever its called on Wii, with that massive tidal wave.
