Social \ Counter strike lan help

Hey guys i recently got a laptop for my sister. And its connected to the my comp through a router wirelessly. She and I both have counter strike installed. We' are playing via this lan. Problem is when i make a new game it doesnt show on her lan tab in the game no matter how much i she refreshes it. But when she makes a game i can see it. What can I do so that i can serve the game and she can join.

thats i bit strange.,...maybe ur/her firewall is blocking it, i know firewalls often block lan connections they dont know of. try unblokcing it from any firewall.

winddows firewall does nothing but buggery apparnetly....does it have zone labs? my dad had that and u had to enabel stuff for soem thigns t owrk

is your router connected to the internet tho? normally if u want to have a LAN, the only way i know of is those blue cables with the LAN modem connected. I havent heard of any other way.
