I'm a huge X-Files fan, but gave up on the game in the first episode. It was alright, but a bit behind the times and slow playing. Nevertheless I'm keeping it for the sole purpose of it looking pretty beside my X-Files box sets... I might give it another run some other time, I got stuck looking for something in it... It didn't get bad reviews though...

Gun on the other hand is absolutely brilliant... This is the only game in the last few months that I have been unable to put down until completion... Everything about it rocks, the feel, the controls, the music, the main story game, the side missions... You think it would be hard to make it controllable to ride around on a horse and snipe ppl at the same time, but they mastered it BIG TIME... Looking forward to PSP port to carry around...

How is mercenaries?? I played the demo way back and was fun, but can't find a copy of the game in Darwin right now...

Mercenaries is good fun: Its GTA with nukes. Now why didn't I make that connection before today? lol. Its awesome. And the levels get exponentially harder (without the cheats). I haven't yet completed it, but have another save file with cheats activated and enjoy levelling building and a single infantry with a petrol bomb, atom bomb or a mini-nuke. Having an airstrike called in is fun, but its better to have the helis come in to take out the hordes of militia you face. Coz your laser targets them and then *makes bullet sounds from first Matrix - where Neo is trying to save morpheus* they are gone and the copter circles the enemies pumping them with bullets till they are no more.

Plus the sporadic battles whilst travlling to your locations are great fun. Esp when you come up against a tank! Or 5 Wow - Im so worked up, I might go play this when I get home tonight....

Yeah I might drop by and pick it sometime. Oh and BTW, I will be finishing up pretty soon with this place. So I won't be in the city much anymore.
