All fanboy crap aside for this post.
Today at EB i say a poster stating that for 799 you get the ps3 when you trade in your PS2 and 25(!!!!) games, which i think is really steep. Manager there said it is DEFINATELY going to be $1000.
Now, the 17th is around my bday, and i seriously considered getting one. In the end i realised, $1000 for a next-gen console plus games is just way to expensive, especially seeing as though i have a 360 already.
If you guys have the money i guess you should get it, but seriously consider the 360, dont be a fanboy, theres alot of advantages of having a 360, cheaper console, probably cheaper games, more exp in online gaming, exlusive GTA downloadable content to come, possibly buying out rockstar meaning GTA is 360 exclusive and the list goes on and on.
You can also get a 360 for 650 now with a free game which will give it even more of a push and will make it even that much more harder for the PS3 (and Wii) to win.
Sorry for the rant, has nothing to do with the initial topic but there ya go.
