There has been A LOT of attention drawn to this movie, either by blind criticism just because of the movies name or the 1337 interest it has generated on internet forums and blog sites and such.

When I told people I was seeing it today with mates I copped it pretty hard with insults about how crap it would be... Well im here to tell you..

ITS FREAKIN AWESOME! I absolutely loved this movie, it is actually VERY good and a great movie to see. I really recommend you all see this at the movies.

Plus all the internet mock-hype only fueld my desire to watch this movie. And unlike most movies I highly anticipate...this one did NOT disappoint in the slightest. That's exactly the point, IAC. Its one of those movies like Napoleon Dynamite...the concept and overall reputation of the movie is made to be ungodly retarted and ridiculous...so much that it becomes a cult classic (like Pulp Fiction and Clockwork Orange) just for its sheer randomness

the whole storyline is pretty entertaing for most of the movie but gets really old towards the end though.

Cannibal Holocaust caught my interested because of all the controversy surrounding it...I managed to order it online and get it...only to find it was about as disturbing as a kitten playing with a ball of yarn. I don't know if its my warped and desensitised mind or the lack of value or maybe it was just over-hyped...point was I wasn't shocked, disturbed or sick when I saw the film...pretty much bored.

But for those with weak stomachs and minors, I strongly suggest you stayy the bloomin' hell away from it. Not only will it corrupt your minds (even further) but you'll sure as hell freak out whenever someone says 'cannibal' from then on.
