omfg are you kidding? RUNESCAPE??!?!?!?!......anywayz, ragnarok online is good as long as you dont play the pay 2 play servers but Flyff is a very good game. maple story, looks like crap to me. but best of all online games, WoW (world of warcraft) kicks all mmorpg games asses.
best shooting online = CSS (counter strike source)

WoW is well worth buying i must add in but you get addicted to it badly...

Guild Wars is a great online game with 3 sets out... the newest and best guild wars out is Guild War: Faction

Lineage 2 is a Pay2Play MMO aswell but there are various private servers out on the net. Its a pretty good MMO (played it before WoW) but I quit because there were too many bugs and glitches that ruined the game experience. But since then, the servers have been upgraded and they now have all the aspect of the original game. Note that this one is free for private servers.

If all else fails..Guild Wars is your best bet. Only problem I have with Guild Wars is that its not entirely an MMO seeing as once you step into the wilderness, you're all on your own...unless you have a party with you in which you and your party are the only ones playing. But the parties usually don't exceed over 4 people.
