Yup. Playstation Network is free on PS2 and PS3, the only time you pay is on PS3 when you wanna buy something from the store (like Tekken Dark Resurrection )

Oh and good luck finding one... If I were you I'd just pick up a Slimline... That's what I used to use to play PS2 online
