Yeah, some funny thing the Goverment set up, if you stay on school after the age you have to (16) and your household income is less than howevermuch PA, then you get money to go to school. It sucks though, 'coz they only pay me after I'm 16, which I'm not untill November, but they've decided that there not gonna pay me untill FEBUARY NEXT YEAR!! Grrr... not happy, pretty much everyone else in the year gets money already.

yeah thats our version of it, aboriginals can get abstudy which means they get twice as much money to stay in school and they can apply as soon as they get into highschool...I guess it's harder to keep them in school.

lol I live in the N.T and I'm friends with lots of aboriginals(travelled around arnhem land for 15 years I've basically been to every community in the N.T), it's the ones who get drunk, sleep and crap in the street that no1 likes. Because the kids get to live in boarding houses for free(because they live upto 1000's of km away from a highschool) they use there abstudy money to buy alcohol, cigarettes and drugs. I could go on for ages with things that are bizarre and very disturbing but it would make people think I'm racist. When I'm far from it.
