Everything the Chaser guys do is for a reaction.
Drawing attention to something they have done is exactly the point of why they do what they do.
Although not reacting to it encourages them to go further next time.
The song was indeed in poor taste. And such an attack on someone who can't defend themselves is deplorable. But they sort of had a point.
I don't mean about the celebrities, so don't misunderstand me.
I meant about how when someone dies (an average person), regardless of how of horrible they were, people always only think about and mention the good aspects of them.
I think that was the point of the song (and to get a reaction from everyone).
Anyway, signing a petition for their ban isn't going to work. They're too popular. So why would ABC or any other station get rid of them? And as I said, that is the kind of reaction they want.
Now, as I said, don't misunderstand me, ok. I'm not condoning what the Chasers did to the memories of the celebrities mentioned. I'm merely looking at their motives and the meaning of the song.
