well, i got 22.5 minutes, because to get 5 peices from a plank of wood, you do 4 cuts. it takes him 10 mins.
10 divided by 4 = 2.5
so it takes 2.5 minutes per cut.
then to get 10 peices, you need to do 9 cuts.
2.5 multiplied by 9 = 22.5

thats how i got it, how did you get 20?

You simply get 20 by saying, to get 5 pieces to 10 pieces, times it by 2, then you also times the 10 minutes by 2, you get 20.

kk its about time i gave the answers.

1. 8
The question was what number is next in the sequance 4,6,2,4,2,3,... Ok the reason its 8 is because in the question the first word (what) has 4 letters, so the first number in the sequance is 4, and then the next number in the sequance is 6 because number has 6 letters in it. and then so on and then we get to sequance which has 8 letters. so then the next number was 8. As i said in the question its not a maths question its observational.

2. 22.5min ok this one was a maths question. how many cuts to get 5 pieces? yes thats right 4... so you go 10 min divide by 4 which is 2.5min, then to get 10 pieces you must do 9 cuts... so 2.5 times 9 = 22.5min.
