You get kudos when you contribute to the site.
It's 2 kudos for each post, I think about five for each video submitted, and more for news, reviews, and guides.
But you lose about ten kudos when a post is deleted (I'm not sure how many for anything else that's deleted though).

So while you've been away, Blinky, an admin has been busy deleting things.

• Each comment = 2 kudos

• Each Review Written = 20 kudos

• Spamming Reviews is -25 kudos per deleted item

It's an easy answer. You probably had heaps of comments posted on games before the site update at the beginning of the year and so therefore when all those old comments became reviews admins like me have been taking lots of time deleting them all, thus leading to all the older members loosing lots of kudos.

To what I know I think it was a entire new engine that was put onto the site and it required all the old stuff to be converted. The new update will just come with the new looking interface and a few bug fixes, sort of what MyWii, My360 and MyPS3 look like.
