As far as I can tell there are no threads dedicated solely to game music. I had a search and can't find any, so I apologize if this kinda forum has already been done.
Anyway, I'm really interested in video game music and it's an industry that I'm trying to get into myself.
So my favourite game music is from Metal Gear Solid 2 & 3, the stuff that Harry Gregson-Williams and Norihiko Hibino compose on, anyone else a fan?

I'd find some videos on Youtube, but I'm at TAFE at the moment.

Norihiko Hibino also did the sound track (or at least some of it) for the Zone of the Enders games as well, you can hear a lot of similarities in them. Harry G-W is a big time film composer, he composed the Narnia movie, Kingdom of Heaven, Shrek movies, and heaps of other big budget films. He did the music to just the cut-scenes of the metal gear games, - not portible ops though. I know a website where you can download videogame soundtracks if you're interested. It's probably not entirely legal though, am I allowed to post the link?

i found it bout 4 months ago and it seems legit, but some of the items dont work, for example if you go into the gta series ( vcs ) it will have some of the radio adds ( i like the vrock ones best ) but they dont work so i was like dammit!!!

lol I take it you mean that you like AC version of One Winged Angel, and so on? The rock and so forth.
I personally love it all. I have the soundtrack on my ipod. And some of my favorites are Divinity I and Divinity II. ^_^
