@Themoth it looks that way, It's really gonna be bad for Toshiba, I think they're gonna have to diversify pretty damn quickly if they're gonna please there shareholders!!

I doubt they'll pay dividends this year...

I dont think HD will die especially after my friend said that theres this chance where it wont, I dont know something he read cant remember. And one things for sure I doubt Microsoft would go Blu-Ray anytime soon thats for sure. Especially after wanting to release a line of HD playing 360's Drives. I wouldnt count HD out of the game yet, yould be surpirsed how things tend to make a comeback. But yeah Microsoft is too thick headed to do that, I think.

HD aint coming back...

The greater format has won!!

Long Live Blu-Ray!!

MS will probably just release new drives with Blu-ray, just to make people pay more.

Blu Ray- 25 gigs per layer

I think that tells you.

I'd be the same as Pongo, except my olde CRT TV in my room has a floating green cloud around it, making it very unsightly, a red cloud is also starting to develope...

I agree, you go to JB HIFI, they have like 5x 15m aisles of movies with less than 1.5m of 1 of those aisles being Blu-ray and HD-DVD, the other 73.5m is all DVDs

Nothing is wrong with the old DVD and when it comes down to the number of people that actually own HD screens and actually care about whether the resolution is an unnoticeable bit higher unless you own a screen the size of a double decker bus it's pretty pointless to be bitching over who made what format and who's using it.

Seriously, there's way more that I would say to the people that somehow please themselves over such useless bickering but I'm afraid I'd probably have to loose my admin position on this site and face a week long ban if I said it. Nuff said.

Perhaps only for consoles, different story again for PC games. Right now I rarely come by multi-DVD games and since the levels of compression applied to the files is quite amazing they can fit a hell of a lot into just 4.7GB.
