Guides \ How To Put Custom Firmware onto Your Psp!

What You Need:

  • 1 x PSP
  • 1 x Pandora Battery (PD) or Tool Battery
  • 1 x Magic Memory Stick under (MMS) 1GB

Steps:

1. If this is the first time you’re using this Tool/PD battery you must charge it to at least 75%.

2. To Check if it is 75% charged you must take the PD/Tool out of the PSP and plug in the AC adapter/charger and then boot up the PSP and go to System Settings>Battery Information.

3. To install CFW or unbrick your PSP, insert the MMS FIRST and then insert the Tool battery or Pandora (PD).

4. A little late some white words come up if they don’t, try again 5 times and then PM me or ask someone about ‘Blind Downgrade”.

5. Pressing ‘[_]’ (Square) will dump your PSP’s NAND to your memory stick. You should always to this first and keep the file safe on your PC in case you need to restore it in the future.

6. Pressing ‘X’ (x) will install whatever custom firmware your MMS has on it. Pressing ‘O’ will install the original firmware of what ever custom firmware you have. Pressing L + R + Start + Home will restore your NAND (DANGEROUS)

i dont understand how to put firmware. i downloaded winrar, i got firmware from dl.qj.net/ and yet it still doesnt work. it keeps saying its corrupt data. i put it in the game folder and i made another folder in it that says UPDATE and it doesnt workk.
