It's something like 5.75% for the initial $75 + 2.75% for the remainder (if it's under $1,000)

For example, if you sell something for $475, the fee is 5.25% of $75, plus 2.75% of the $400.

Hope that makes sense.

i've sold a couple of things on ebay but never worried too much about the fees.. most i've ever had to pay for fees is $20 and that was for selling an iPAQ for $400 so the fees aren't too bad

guys i have a new problem about selling on ebay. Ah, its again about the sellers fees, but now how to pay them. I was thinking of making the one time payment by direct debit, but am unsure as to how the billing of the U.S dollars works out? Ebay has said you must be billed in U.S dollars and use a U.S billing account or somthing? Djaye, do you know which way is better to pay the fees?

I dont get charged in USD.. Even when I list on US ebay my account is in AUD... If you registered on AU ebay then your account fees will be in AUD. I do both direct deposit and credit card payments depending on what suits at the time.

Hey guys, i am having a problem with ebay again. my details have so 'become invalid' And i cannot close it or merge it without getting into to it. Has this happened to anyone else before? I have not changed the password or user ID and had used it just the day before it told me i was invalid. Anyone know whats going on? I have contacted ebay a few times but they cannot give me a reason why this is happening.
