Hmm, you have a point there, gdmatt....I suppose....
But I still think that as long as it's not random spam being posted it's fine. 
Also bringing up an old thread might encourage people to post rather than lurk.
Anyway, the whole blu-ray vs hd-dvd war isn't going to be over anytime soon. I doubt that just one format will win.

Yes, I have indeed read that according to some people the 'war' is over. But I honestly don't think it is.
