Well, just doing my normal web browsing sort of thing, and 1 thing i always do when looking at new websites (especcially forums) is see wat powers them. See if they r using a free website system, just in case i find osmething i want to use in 1 of my sites later on.

Looking at one recently, well, just then, the system it called was called XMB. Thats right, XMB. The same name sony called there cross menu bars.

i looked at the xmb website, it says down the bottom
"All content Copyright Aventure Media United Kingdom"

not sure if it really is a copyriht infrngiment, im not a lawyer.

It is a coincidence, and XMB forum has been around for ages... Longer than the Sony XMB (which BTW was 1st introduced in the Sony PSX (not PS1) which wasn't successful in Japan and never went anywhere else)...

Nah, PSX is the weird white console that was mainly a media player and was released last year, so only a year away from PS3, so Sony decided to not release everywhere else in the world....

That was also the Unit that introduced the XMB Interface that we now see in PSP & PS3...

The PSX has been out longer than a year and is just a PS2 with hard drive to store dvds music and other content. Was released Dec 2003 check both PSX models here www.play-asia.com/ www.play-asia.com/ both the same really and well worth waiting for the PS3 than trying to get one of these.

Yeah, maybe like in 10 more years we will see something like that, until then I will be forced to lug around my PS3 in a huge Laptop bag weighing in over 7 kgs....

Rather difficult to take to ppls places, when you consider my slimline PStwo is just over 1 kg with all the cables and controllers for it...
