oh yeah shuttles now it makes sense....my cousin has got a shuttle it is unreal for gaming, i love playing oblivion and such games on it

Too expensive? Well it's more expensive for Sony than it is for you... the consumer... Consider this, when you walk out of the Store with a PS3... Sony looses about $300 AU. Just on parts and labor. Look at the price of a Blu-Ray player in JB HiFi (or wherever) and then tell me that PS3 is expensive. For $999 you get, 60GB HDD, Cell, Gigabit Port, WiFi (with remote play to PSP which allows you to watch movies and listen to music you have stored on PS3), Blu-Ray (why have blu-ray? well not just for HD ie.Resistance is a 16GB game). Connects to iPod, can have Linux, 3 card readers (CF, SD/micro, MS), 4 USB, Bluetooth (yes you can use your Nokia headset for online play)... Jeez it ain't that much....

that fact that sony is losing money means absolutely nothing to me. that fact that is cost so much for a gaming consol that will get upgraded in a year or two is a problem for me. and also it doesnt matter that they lose 300 dollars per consol because games make it up for them especially if they are like 360 games at 120 bucks each

Resistance is 16GB! BAHAH! Ok ok, so I suppose sony has made you think that you NEED bluray to have the best games?

Now lets see, how come Gears of war looks and plays MUCH better and is only on a dual layer dvd?

Derrr bluray player costs $99999, so does a HD DVD player, and one for the 360 is only $250 and its not forced upon you.

gears of war does have extremely good gameplay for a dual layer DVD and too be honoust i dont think a bluray can improve on that much if at all

To each his own, I'm not going into an argument about 360 vs. PS3... It's lame... You like your 360, I like my PS3.

Good, now that's over. Show me 40 player in Gears of War. Oh and eventually you will have to "upgrade" to an external HD-DVD Drive for your 360 to be able to play the latest games. Resistance is no worse looking or playing than Gears of War, and in fact, unlike Gears of War doesn't stutter once in the game nor does it last only 8 hrs... As far as I am concerned, both consoles are great. I just prefer my PS3...

HD DVD will never be used for games on the 360.

Its common knowledge that Gears of war is a far superior game. I didnt sell 3 million copies, and win game of the year almost everywhere for nothing.

The wise person would buy a HDDVD-BLURAY combo drive, wow? Too simple? Lucky I didnt get forced into choosing.

Well the ps3 would have been longer if it hadn't been so delayed... And looks like you still have a bit to go before it gets released here
