Marvel Nemesis: Rise of the Imperfects - 1/10
Ok Had High hopes for this game But was let down.
When u Power up this game for the first time u hope that a cool little INTRO Movie will be played, NO just the MARVEL Movie(like the one at the start of their movies).
The Menus look good nice bright colours and good marvel music.
You only get TWO fighters to use at the start thats it, THING & one of the IMPERFECTS, the rest u have to unlock in the Story Mode, Which means u have to fight 10 IMPERFECTS to unlock ONE new Character, So if u use a Marvel superhero to win all 10 fights you get an IMPERFECT and Vice Versa. So it would take a Very Very long time to unlock all the Fighters(I unlocked 2 and that was it for me).
The Graphics do look good, the fighters look good and move well.
The Environments are Interactive so you can pick up a car and throw it(u have to use a Character with the power to do so but) or you can smash fighters of the roof of an Arena to get an easy win. The Arenas are way to big and sometimes hard to find the Enemy. EA should of went for a Tekken style of Arena.
The controls are easy to master with Block, Attack, Throw, Jump, Shoulders are for superpowers and the d pad is used for your upgrades. Not much skill is needed in this game for their are no Combo's, no finishers, nothing really, Just a button Basher Game.
I didnt get use any of my Fav Marvel heros( Wolverine, Venom, Spider man, Dr Doom or Capt America), which is a real let down as that was the whole reason i got the game.
Their is a cool Feature when you win a fight.
You get to choose for 1 of 5 Cards to help your fighter out, Eg
+5 for all hits for 30 seconds, they are your modifiers.
A total of 170 cards to unlock some rare some uncommon and most are common. A nice touch but not enough.
Took it back to EB the next day. Just hire it, dont buy.

I wish EA whole just take more time in making some of their games, This could of been a top game.
