The disappointment and heartbreak on the Polish fans faces were unbearable. But as I was barracking for Germany in that game, I found it amusing. My cheers often changed - esp the time when Germany tried to kick goals, but it continously hit the post - I was like - 'YaaayyyyAAYYYaaayyyAYyy ah crap - in the goal fools' lol

Guess it comes down to watching the closing minutes of the game, everytime.

Spain 4 v 0 Ukraine

Ukraine qualified for the world cup for the first time, impressively finishing top of their group. But to say the least they were (explicit language)!

Spain took the lead early from a corner that went in off Xabi Alonso's 'back'! Then a David Villa Free kick deflected off the wall and in, 2-0 Spain at half time.

Second half it went from bad toooooooo worse for Ukraine, 3rd minute of 2nd half and a dubiuos penalty was given for a shirt tug, Ukrainian was sent off, David Villa converted the penalty. Last goal came from a thunderous volly from Torres, after a magnificent persistent run by Puyol.

I was so sad this morning

I got up to see that Suadi Arabia had scored in the 84th minute and tunisia equalized . I went to sleep on the 78th minute mark . and missed the only exciting part of the match.

Germany 1-0 Poland
Just saw the highlights, Germany had about 12 shots from the edge of the 6 YARD box and couldn't score until right at the end.

Poland 1st team to be knocked out of the world cup! (iif ecuador get a point in next 2 games)

The Tunisian team really suprised me! I didnt think they could get a single goal but they suprised me!

Oh Germany vs Poland was great! I dont like the Polish team after they left out Jerzy Dudek! Come on, stupid thing ever! Plus one of my mates is a hardcore Polska fan and i luv to make fun of him!

Dwight Yorke's T&T held stong for 84 minutes, but the big'ish' Peter Crouch towered over his marker to send a late header home, Gerrard closed out the game with a magnificent left foot finish, nice to see someone is actually transferring some of their club form onto the international pitch, (unlike lampard who missed like 4 sitters). Rooney made an appearance for last half hour in place of out of form Owen.

Sweden 1 v 0 Paraguay

Didn't watch game, Ljungberg scored goal from midfield, i've got the feeling Sweden will have big problems scoring against better known sides like england, even though they do have Larsson and Imbrahimovic.
