Requirements

Warning!
The following steps
require flashing. Do so at your own risk. No-one
will be held responsible but yourself if something stuffs up.
Let’s get started
1) Download
all the files above and extract them To one folder
2) Go into
3.71m33 file (UPDATE) there should be 2 files in there
umodule.prx and EBOOT.PBP. copy the 3.71 official update to the update
folder called “371.PBP” without
“””
3) Enable
USB connection Copy the UPDATE folder to GAME (MS/PSP/GAME
4) Run the
installer in the game click X and it should go into what
looks like a Sony installer Sony installer, don’t worry it
isn’t
5) Once done
your PSP should restart then you will be on 3.71m33 .YAY
6) IMPORTANT
before you do anything go to system setting, restore
factory settings. This is important because some people have reported a
brick because the settings are corrupted.
7) Enable
USB connection Delete the old update in PSP/GAME
8) Go to
1.50 add on (UPDATE) there should be 3 files in there
EBOOT.PBP, libpsardumper.prx, pspdecrypt.prx.
9) Copy the
file to PSP/GAME
10) Get the
1.50.pbp Sony official update and copy it to the PSP root
with the name 150. (MS/150.)
11) Exit USB
go click GAME and run the application (if application
isn’t there or wont work enable USB and rename the 1.50.pbp
or 150. to
150.PBP)
12) You now
have 1.50 update, once again restore factory settings.
13) Delete
the 1.50 add on off the memory stick.
14) The
next thing is pretty straight forward
15) ENABLE
USB CONNECTION
16) Go to
the folder 3.71m33-2 (UPDATE)
17) Copy the
UPDATE to PSP/GAME
18) Run it
off GAME then delete it
19) You now
should have firmware 3.71m33-2
20) Now to
put on the 150 add on 2
21) Open the
file 150kernel_addon2 then UPDATE copy the four files to
(PSP/GAME.
22)
Hopefully you still should have the 1.50 official Sony update at
the root of the memory stick (refer to step 10)
23) Exit
USB and run the Application
24) You
should now have the updated version of the 1.50 kernel.
