Requirements
NOTE:
Don't worry about the Magic Memory stick or the Pandora battery if you haven't got them yet. I'll guide you through them too.
Guide:
Step One: Format your PSP Memory stick (Back up everything on your memory stick before doing this, just copy and paste somewhere on your computer) to do this, go to System settings and click format memory stick. Download
Step Two: Totalnewbie easy installer and extract it from the RAR file using Winrar.
Step Three: Plug your PSP in your computer and press on the start.exe and just follow the program. If it asks about, I can't remember what just click enter (I WILL get back to this one) It should ask if you want to format press Y then hit enter and just follow the rest.
Step Four: Now everything you need should be installed on your PSP before anything I would suggest going into Pandora Battery Creator and backing up your battery eeprom (It in the menu, not need to guide you through that, I hope)(If it says the game could not be started, go into recovery menu* and go into configuration and change your Kernal), DO NOT TURN IT INTO A PANDORA BATTERY YET.
Step Five: Now plug your PSP into the computer and on the root of your PSP there should be something called eeprom, now copy and paste that to your hard drive somewhere.
Step Six: Now what you might want to do is fully charge your PSP or keep it on the charger. Now go back into Pandora Battery Creator and click X(I think it’s X, press the one that says to create Pandora Battery).
Step Seven: Turn off your PSP and pull out the battery, wait like 5 seconds or something, and then put it back in. The green light should be on. ALL Lights should be lit up (INCLUDING YOUR WLAN & YOUR MEMORY STICK LIGHTS), The screen should be black and now it should come up with a few options.
NOTE: If you can choose to change yours back to 1.50 if you want to re-install CFW if you want or just to take it off or whatever)If you choose to change it back to 1.50 or recover 3.71 M33 see BJ2's Guide
Step Eight: Obviously, you should press the button (I’m thinking its square for some strange reason, but I could be wrong) that says BACK UP NAND. After that’s finished, turn off your PSP and take out your battery.
Step Nine: Leave the battery out and plug in the charger, now turn it on without the battery in it. Once it’s on, put the battery back in and you can take out the charger if you want. Go into Pandora Battery Creator and press square and it will change your battery back into a normal battery.
Step Ten: Now what you'll probably want to do is back up your IDKeys. To do this, download IDStorage Manager V 1.3(link in requirements section). Now plug your PSP into the computer and go into PSP then go into the folder called GAME and the copy IdStoragerManager folder into there.
Step Eleven: start it up on your PSP (If it doesn't work, swap your Kernal mode, but it shouldn't be a problem) and just press Square and then it ask you to press X to dump the keys to your memory stick.
Step Twelve: Once that's finished, keep that all on the memory stick and back it up on your computer, even the IdStorage Manager. If you change your IDKeys you will probably stuff your PSP. If you do manage to do that. start the program up, and Press X to verify/fix Keys and then click X once again and it should fix them.
