WiFi Controller

Guide:

Step One: Download WiFiController and copy the folder named "WiFiController" into PSP/GAME on your memory stick

Step Two: Open up the folder (PSP/GAME/WiFiController) and there will be a file called "wifi". Open this up in notepad

Step Three: It will say this:

set the address of the server...# note: make sure there are no spaces before or after the = sign

address=192.168.1.2

You need to replace the IP address with the computers IP address you wish to use it on. See step 4 to find your IP adress

Step Four: If you know your Ip and have replaced it in the wifi file skip this step.

If not, open the start menue.

Click Run (or search for it if on vista)

Type into the box "cmd"

A black box will appear In it, type "ipconfig"

Some lines will appear and it will tell you your IP address. It will be 4 numbers with a dot between them. eg. 192.168.1.2 (on vista, it may say "Ip Addressv4")

Step Five: Download and Install PPJOY (run the installer, follow the prompts)

Step Six: Go to your start menue and click on control panel. Then click on "Parallel Port Joysticks" (if on vista, change the view to classic mode in the sidebar)

Step Seven: When the screen pops up click Add

Step Eight:If it isn't already, change "Parallel Port" to "Virtual joysticks" then click add

Step Nine: It will want to install drivers. either let it scan or direct it to the location you installed PPjoy to (usualy C:/Program Files/Parallel Port Joystick)

Step Ten: Once this completes, click on "PPJoy Virtual joystick 1" and click mapping (under it)

Step Eleven: Choose "Set a custom mapping for this controller" then click next

Step Twelve: To get the best controlls. Click the dropdown boxes and change the settings so there are 2 Axis (x and y), 9 buttons and 1 POVhat (then click next)

Step Thirteen: Change these settings so "X Axis = Analog 0" and "y Axis = Analog 1"

Step Fourteen: Now for setting the buttons. Make these your settings:

Button 1 = nothing (scroll to the very bottom of the dropdown box for the "nothing option")

Button 2 = Digital 0

Button 3 = Digital 1

Button 4 = Digital 2

Button 5 = Digital 3

Button 6 = Digital 4

Button 7 = Digital 5

Button 8 = Digital 11

Button 9 = Digital 10

Step Fifteen: Select Directional Button POV and make the settings:

North = Digital 6

East = Digital 7

South = Digital 8

West = Digital 9

Step Sixteen: Repeat steps if you want more joysticks (more psp's)

Step Seventeen: Inside the WiFi Controller download there will be a PC File. If you are just using the one psp as controller 1 you can just run WiFiServer.exe. But if you are using more than one you need to open the appropriate reciever (it will make sence when you see the files)

Step Eighteen: Run the app on your psp called WiFiController (wireless internet connection needed to be preconfigured under sittings/network settings)

Step Nineteen: So with the reciever on the PC (WiFiServer.exe) and the app running on your psp you just have to configure the controls as you would for any normal controller you get
