I don't see why Sony would want to waste flash memory space on something like a messenger when you can multitask and use both a webbased messenger and the internet browser. Unless XMB becomes something more like the 360s Dashboard with in game access from the HOME button, messenger while playing or in the menus and all other niceties then these current features really aren't taking the PSP very far in terms of advancement. Let us not also forget that the B wireless is enough of a setback as it is.
