More speculation about the 'PSP2' has emerged, this time suggesting that the console will feature a touchscreen.
IGN reported the rumour and claim that their sources have informed them that the PSP2 will feature a multi-touch screen. In English please doctor! Basically that means players will be able to touch the screen in several different places at the same time.
A touch screen would hardly come as a surprise to anyone. After all the Nintendo DS has been extremely successful using the technology, and it is working well for Apple with the iPhone. The rumoured PSP2 will be the first true successor to the PSP if the speculation is true. Since it's initial launch in 2005 the PSP has undergone some minor transformations, but is yet to have a fully fledged successor.
No more information was presented from this 'source' besides the fact that the PSP2 is "coming soon".
