Every single person i know who has an ipod has had to return it at least once for repairs-- the only reason they sell well is because they have flooded the market with advertisements-- they've spent all their money on advertising rather than making a good mp3 player-- Get an iRiver-- you've probly never heard of them- that's cause they're the opposite of the iPod.

The shuffle has never let me down. Treat it right and youll be fine. However by all accounts iRiver's are good also....

JC pehaps you havnt realised, the PSP is bulky and not practical to carry around all the time.

iRiver doesn't have bad reviews i've ever seen (unlike iPod)-- as i suggested, it's just not flooded the advertising market which means it's not as widely recognized--
It's not treated badly

I'd be suprised'f u could get somethin' good for less than 200... summof the lesser-known players are pretty cheap, but sometimes for good reasons...

Yeh, I'm havin' the same thing a bit--
The iRiver H300s have vid and music playback, radio, photos...all that iPod only just put out 6 months ago, the H300s've had for 2-3 years...
