I am a borderline alcoholic. After I finished my HSC I would drink myself to bed almost every night and drink again in the afternoon till I felt drowzy. Then repeat the process. I got to a point where I needed alcohol to go to sleep at night. It was horrible and it was sucking my wallet drier than ever.

But I've cut down a lot recently. I made a vow before my 18th birthday that I would stop drinking for the rest of the year. And so far, I've kept that promise. Been sober for 4 months now...but we'll see how long that lasts

Well, according to Dr Phill, you have to replace an addiction, with something else, or there is a high chance of revirting to your old ways.

Try finding a hobby, or something else that you have always wanted to do, but have not made a serious attempt to commit to the project.

Radio Controlled plane, Paragliding etc etc etc

Another thing is that im an asshole, no matter what with my mates n stuff i can b a reall prik at times.and i hate it wen it dusnt go my way. I think i get it from my dad but it comes in handy sometimes in sport and stuff like that. but over the course of this year i think i have become alot better and kno alot more about myself, even tho i find it hard to forgive people. I think i have become better mates with all my friends because of this. yay! im gonna start a fight at soccer today n get a red card! thats my school spirit

Speed (amphetimines) & Smack (heroin) are the 2 most EVIL addictions you could possibly have, and I am serious when I say that a person would chop their mother into little pieces and sell them if that what was needed to get their next hit.

I am lucky, I broke free of it, but there a thousands that haven't, and will die from it. (and not care)

WoW, that is an evil addiction, as for my addiction to games, it was Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.

Clocked up over 250 hrs on it since it was released in March, but now i am over it and when i think back about all that time i wasted playing Oblivion, i think to myself was it worth it? and the answer is no, but it was fun while it lasted, but now i am over it.
