I just threw in Devil Slicer, you can get thunder/inferno sacs when you're a HR3 Hunter, not necessarily online. I only have Thundertip, Rathalos Firesword, Rust Great Sword, Eager Cleaver, Ogre Tusk, Dragon Knight's Pike, Blazing Falchion, Corona, PBA, Eternal Strife, Plesioth Watersword, Master's Dagger, Hurricane+ and Demonlock.
Use a fire-based weapon on Gypceros, and use pitfall traps. Don't bother with flashbangs as it's immune to them, and when it uses the flash, BLOCK. ALso, when you hit it and it looks like it dies, don't go near it, it's a fake out. When it dies you get the victory music, so you'll know it's faking.
