I have had my PSP for just over a week now. So far I have had it updated to CFW 4.10 m33-2, run RemoteJoy to my PC and gotten into running the games I have bought from the Memory Stick.
The performance is a LOT better and the unit is far quieter without the UMD spinning up. It is is a real shame Sony couldn't find a way to make this a standard operation and also protect the relevant developer's intellectual property.
The guy who changed the firmware on my PSP was very good and if anyone in Melbourne needs this done I would recommend him whole heartedly. $40 per unit. I have also ordered a Pandora Battery but couldnt wait for it to arrive to get the CFW on my PSP.
I have bought a whole bunch of games as well - some from online and some from the EB Games sale over the last few days. I am really enjoying Final Fantasy Crisis Core and will move on to Valkyrie Profile Lenneth next.

Does anyone else have any suggestions for buying games online? I have no interest in downloading copied CSO files - I am old fashioned and enjoy having the packaging and such.
