Medal Of Honour Frontline was great, Medal Of Honour Heroes for the PSP is good, and the upcoming title Battlefield Bad Company for PS3 is looking very good. But i see where you're coming from, EA make alot of average games, but they do also make some very good ones too.

Like with CNC games, you can buy the games, and install them all on your home network, THEN! (via a small tool..) give them all different serial activation cades, and presto! you can play LAN with you're mates, enjoying the game properly in multiplay!

Medal Of Honour is pretty average, the are alot of way better FPS games. And the sports games from EA arnt that good, though I have only played NBA.

I found Crysis to be pretty adverage gameplay wise and the Orange Box is made by Valve lol EA

I would if I had the money for it, but its mainly for Online use, and since I dont have a wrieless connection it wouldnt be much use to me.
