thats true, i really liked snake eater, much better on the harder difficulties, easy you didn't even have to eat! just isn't the same.
MGS was great at the time, but far too short now (played far too much.. still fun for the 3hrs it shouldn't take).
MGS2 was fun, i liked it, but havn't played it as much as the others.
Only got mpo a week ago.. wouldn't play it without playing snake eater at all, half the stuff would just seem weird, specially sokolov..
suggust playing mgs, mgs2 then 3 then mpo.
If you want to play the original.. if you have patience, play them first, they seem too slow and restricted after playing snake eater, specially on the ps2.. (ssubsistence has them on one of the discs, and they have entirely different concepts, i suggest just reading the previous missons section of metal gear solid, mite take an hour or two though..)
